Broga Hill

First of all, me and my friends pick a good day for hiking Broga Hill. We select the last Sunday of March 2010. We visited to Thien Hou Temple before and prayed for success our Broga Hill Hiking day. =)

OK, now the day is arrived, i wake up in the early morning, the clock is showing me 3.30am!! Get ready myself with simple packing process for bringing some useful staff like torch light and camera. To be sure i bring a long a small bottle of drinking water. And i'm not forget to fill in my stomach with a simple bun and a glass of hot drinks. :P Waiting for my friend come to fetch me up at 4am plus. We depart earlier as no body among us went there before. To make sure the happiness and smoothness is better we depart earlier to avoid unnecessary emotional things happen.

Now, 2 cars with total 10 of us is heading to Broga from our place SS2, Petaling Jaya. As usual, the sign board sometime will make people blur, we get cheated by the sign board which show us the road to Semenyih. Wasted sometime to make a U-Turn and paid another 2 times of 0.90rm toll fees. End up we linked back to the road we used just now. What the hack ya. After running on the road for around an hour. We are near to Nottingham College, we have a break at nearby petrol station to let go some "little things". So every one is easy to hike later. LOL.

We heading to Broga Hill by follow the road sign. Around 5.30am we reached the hill foot. There is private oil palm farm which opposite to rabbit farm. And there is other cars park there already. So we get ready and start our true journey here. Torch light is needed as there is true dark. Unless you are a jungle tracking kaki or hunter, as i had followed my friend to hunting before, they do like they have night eye. They do bring torch light but seldom use it. As animal is sensitive to the light. OK, come back to story, we are ready to move. follow the road to up hill. people walked before so do not worry will lost the way. 10 of us keep moving forward to the hill.

The hill is quite easy to walk, as u can see female or male, child adult or old people also came here for a visit. In the way walking, when reach to certain level of height, you may see the night view.



And very fast we came to the first peak. There is a quite challenge step to walk before reaching each peak. But the tough step is very short. Heard from friends, peak 2 have a better view for sunrise, so we just follow and walk to 2nd peak and wait there. people is busy for taking their own snaps here. Time still early, so every one can take a good breath here while waiting for the sunrise time. Sky here is clean ,so u can watch the starts is blinking in the sky. Ok, time around 6.40am, the opposite side from the night view, which is the east side start have a brighten sky. So so pretty view.



The sun is slowly light up the dark sky. The sky get brighter n brighter. Do your free style photo session here. Walk around and see the wonderful scene GOD dedicated for every one of us. ;)

after watching the sunrise at 2nd peak, now few of my friend keep moving forward to 3rd peak. not much different, but 3rd peak do have some big big stone. We walk around and continue hike for the final peak. quite challenge for the 4th peak, as it dun have the normal step, you have to climb on the big stone to get up to the 4th peak. but with help of rope there, it can support you to climb over the big stone easily. there are trees like jungle on top peak here. and if you are jungle tracking liker, maybe u can continue to walk a distance of 3.1km to the Gunung Tok Wan. ^^ but we are just for Broga. So we start downhill process after take enough snap on the Broga Hill. So very fast we reach the foot hill.

after having a good time on the Broga hill, energy is burning fast and feel hungry, thus we decide to visit to somewhere at pekan Semenyih to have our breakfast. my friend show us the way and we go to the restaurant which well known in clay pot food. we do ordered 3 main clay pot course: 花雕鸡, 猪肉辣汤，黑醋猪脚. overall the food is quite nice. u can go for it. :)
