Nasi Lemak Uptown!

To be sure, i'm a food lover, unlike food professional where even they tasted a small piece of fried chicken, they can give you a full list of the material had been used in cooking and able describe the taste like writing thousand word essay. For me, every things goes simple. The good things pass through my mouth, i say good. That's ALL.

OK, the good day which fall on 1st Wednesday of April, the day after i busy with my assignment, where i sleep 3 hours only because have to complete the assignment and pass it up before the expire minutes. LOL.

After i came back from office, mean i settled my job. I and few of my dear housemate, ring up some other friends, so with a total 8 of us, we are heading to PJ UpTown, Village Park Restaurant.
Time around 6pm something, we just take around 10-15mins to arrived here from our depart point(ss2, PJ). Here well known with their Nasi Lemak Ayam, where people call them BEST Uptown Nasi Lemak!! So, what else? Sure cannot wait anymore to taste this town BEST nasi lemak.

Get in to the restaurant, luckily not too pack of customer, may be there is not the peak time for this restaurant, where i heard people said if you come at noon, you may need to take your Q for having your nasi lemak! OK, we got our sit and start to place order! WOW, it does surprised me when the waiter told me that they only left the last 8 pieces of fried chicken, with 8 of us, what?! sure we fast to drop our order. I'm quite speechless, its only 6pm plus, this shop suppose operate till hours 2000, but the fried chicken was selling fast. And may be should say lucky, every one of us can have the well known fried chicken nasi lemak! Ther people came later have to order for other than the fried chicken. Really i feel lucky!! LOL.

Very fast they served their food. Here is how the nasi lemak ayam look like!

How should we call a Nasi Lemak a good Nasi Lemak? Nice looking? Good rice? Good sambal? Good condiments? Well, for me, a good food must taste good! am i right?! hahaha~ OK, this nasi lemak actually have every things good! Good looking, good smell, good rice, good sambal and good condiments last but not least the very good chicken!! these make the nasi lemak to best in town!! So may be you will ask me how good is it ya?

(1)Look: something like in the photo. the whole combination make a colorful nasi lemak.
(2)rice: the nasi lemak(rice cooked with coconut milk) is real good smell. and personally i like the non-sticky rice(一粒一粒的), to get this type rice should don't too wet as long as don't over dry. ^^ the rice it own already i can rate 4.8/5. however the size not too large, this make me order another add-on nasi lemak to share with my friend. or may be say it is too delicious??!!
(3)chicken: chicken here very nice in taste. it quite "soft" with crispy skin, somehow we need called it outer crispy inner soft? LOL. and the rempah they use was married well with the chicken thus make them very good aroma. and the size is quite big!
(4)sambal: the sambal is great. not too spicy not too sweet. but personally actually i prefer spicier one! :D this one is great for all, cause not every one like too spicy sambal. ^^
(5)condiment: the crispy ikan bilis(anchovies
) and the nuts, the cucumber slides and the fried boiled egg are all nice!!

So all of these make a perfect combination and bring out the real good taste of this Nasi Lemak Uptown!! i have no idea how to describe it anymore, the only way, GO n TRY it!!! :D

Beside, i order somethings new to me, Bandung ice blanded.

With the short-fat glass, it look just cute!! and it tasted not bad. You may have a try if you interested on it. :)

Here i attached a simple map from google map,

It wont tough to find, just near to LDP. The location of Village Park Restaurant is around the smiling face only. :)
